Cookie Policy

1. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small item of data stored by a website in the browser. Local storage, pixels and third-party scripts may serve similar purposes. FaturaMerkez uses technologies necessary for the service to work and loads analytics, marketing and optional support technologies only according to the visitor’s preference.
2. Categories
Necessary
These support session, security, request integrity, language and consent-preference functions needed for normal operation and cannot be disabled. The FaturaMerkez preference stores the schema version, analytics/marketing/support choices and decision time, contains no personal information, and lasts approximately one year.
Analytics
Google Analytics / GA4 helps understand visits and page use in aggregate. The Google tag loads only when Analytics is enabled. A registration analytics event may then be sent. When disabled, FaturaMerkez makes no Google Analytics request for this purpose.
Marketing
Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag may measure campaign performance and conversions. They load only when Marketing is enabled. When Marketing is enabled, FaturaMerkez may also store a first-party fm_acquisition cookie containing campaign attribution parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_id. This cookie is used to preserve the first campaign source across navigation for up to approximately 90 days. If an account is successfully created, the available attribution values may be attached to that account for campaign-performance reporting and the browser attribution cookie is removed. Rejecting or withdrawing Marketing prevents this attribution capture and removes the readable first-party attribution cookie.
Support / Functional
The Tawk.to chat widget provides optional live support on public marketing, authentication and legal pages. It loads only when Support is enabled and the current page allows the widget. It does not load in the authenticated accounting workspace. The public site and application remain usable without the widget.
3. Providers, names and durations
Known optional providers are Google Analytics (Google), Meta Pixel (Meta), LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn), and Tawk.to. Provider-controlled cookie names, domains and durations can change and may differ by browser, region and provider configuration. Current details may be reviewed in the provider’s own documentation and browser developer tools.
FaturaMerkez's first-party campaign-attribution cookie is named fm_acquisition and is configured for a maximum age of approximately 90 days, unless it is removed earlier after successful registration or withdrawal of Marketing consent.
After withdrawal, FaturaMerkez stops future loading and reasonably attempts to remove common provider cookies readable from its own domain. It cannot promise deletion of every cookie created on another domain or otherwise inaccessible to the browser script.
4. Making and changing a choice
When there is no current decision, the Cookie Preferences panel appears. “Accept All” enables all three optional categories; “Reject All” leaves only Necessary; “Manage Preferences” allows granular choices. “Cookie Settings” in the footer or user menu reopens the panel. Turning off a previously loaded technology may refresh the page to stop it cleanly.
5. Consent version
The decision is stored for the current Cookie Consent Version shown above. If categories or purposes materially change, the version is increased and an old decision is not silently reinterpreted; the user is asked again. Switching Turkish/English does not erase the domain-wide first-party preference.
6. International processing
Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Tawk.to are global services and, when enabled, may involve processing or access outside Türkiye. Such processing and transfers are handled subject to the applicable KVKK international-transfer requirements, taking into account the provider, location, contract and technical setup. Optional preferences can be withdrawn at any time.
7. Contact and separation of choices
Questions may be sent to [email protected]. A cookie preference is not acceptance of the SaaS contract, consent to the Privacy Notice, or email/SMS marketing consent.
